I honor of tonight's 13th season debut, I bring you
THE AMAZING RACE JUNKING EDITION
Team 1: Sue (yours truly) and Colleen (Fresh Vintage)
{I'll readily admit I can't keep this "Amazing Race" analogy up (oh, and I've tried oh-so-lamefully). I just wasted a full hour writing-deleting-writing-deleting-writing-deleting). Suffice it to say that this weekend was a BLAST.}
Shopping with Colleen is hysterical, akin to shopping with my sister ("go ahead, buy it!"). She goaded me into buying something absurd (in QUANTITY) that will be fabulous (once I put in a LOT of work).... I thought the car was "full" (clearly a relative term) at 9:30 a.m., but you be the judge. I got home at dusk, so this is all you'll see today:
In the end, we logged 8.75 hours on the junking timeclock. Overtime, baby! Geekily, I also invested in a pedometer, to further Amy's research into the potential health benefits of junking (offset, of course, by Diet Cokes and notoriously bad flea market food). Results TK tomorrow.
I'll also, with the benefit of daylight, be unveiling all my amazing finds. Suffice it to say that the only thing I regret not buying is that boatload of batons. DANG! Now I'm obsessed with batons!

Looks like you had a great time! What fun:) Been to Renniger's once and loved it. Can't wait to see what you found.

Hey Sue! Well, I see one of your beloved black globes. What else? Ummmm, is that a crapload of clock cases in the box? Glad you and Colleen had fun! Can't wait to see what other goodies you brought back!

Nothing better than getting all hyped up on Diet Coke and coming home with a car loaded so high you can't see out the back window

this looks like my car coming home from W on Thursday - Mel's stuff unfortunately ended up on the bottom, beneath a 500 lb piece of slate so had to be dropped off sans treasures because there was no FN way I was going to unload that slate until I got home.
