I truly hope I haven't used up all my junking mojo for the week summer year. I also sincerely hope I didn't steal any of your mojo, but I got insanely lucky at the 5 estate sales I attended in the last 2 days!
Parasols, flower frogs, ironstone, ephemera, a bridal book, bird books, French dictionaries, Derby Decanters (horse stuff sells big here) ...
... botanicals, turn of the century bibles and dictionaries, pincushions, clocks, more ironstone ...
... bling, atlases, cigar boxes, religious books ...
... and my FIFTH boudoir chair. WHEW.
Oh sure, I had to wade through a lot of owls, roosters, corncob art (don't ask), and dishtowels to find all this, but it was worth it. No good furniture, however, but that's cool. I've got plenty, right?
I'm off to Chartreuse so I'll have more later, plus closeups of the killer ephemera I scored. You'll DROOL over the "Birthday Book" and "Bride's Book" (never used, which, I'm sure, is a tale unto itself)! XOX

I had to laugh....I have thought the very same thing about junkin mojo...you almost get scared once you hit the mother load it's gonna be all over! You did great....love the ironstone an pin cushions!

You're harshing my mellow with your rooster dis! While I usually don't buy them, I picked up three this weekend and sold one immediately. (Sometimes I'm a suck-up to customers' country wants. Usually not. And only if they're fab, if you can imagine a fab rooster.) Your haul was swell. I've got to get back into junking mode this week. My smalls have dissipated.
