I might have an achey breaky back, but that didn't stop me from snatching this (in slo-mo, of course) from curbside on garbage day yesterday. Of course, I couldn't scurry home, so I tried my best to nonchalantly gently kick it home. UPHILL. Cody definitely gave me the "Geez, Mom!" look so I dropped his leash so he could walk ahead of me, pretending he doesn't know me.
This would look adorable in a garden with a pot of flowers in the seat. I'm not even gonna bother trying to get the rust off.

LOve it. I've done that too. Or RAN home with the dog to go get the truck... gotta hurry to get the thing that no one else wants...

Great junk rescue! What a gem, and with the perfect rust patina too. In fact, I have junk envy!
Thanks for visiting our blog.

The rust is definitely part of the appeal.

Cody doesn't realize it could have been worse...you could have set on it and had him drag you home!
Girl, rust in our business is a commodity to be bought, sold and traded.

Rig it up so you can walk Cody around the neighborhood in it! That will teach him for not appreciating your finds! :)

if you tried to put a toddler in that thing today--sharp edges, rust, no stickers requiring helmets, ect.---the consumer product safety commission and the mommy cops would throw your arse in the slammer for sure!

What a most fabulous curbside find - definitely worth the embarrassment of your dog!

You should have sat on it and had Cody pull you home.
Can't believe someone didn't see value in that ride on toy.

Great find! Totally worth kicking home no matter how much it embarrassed your ungrateful dog :) Perfect just the way it is... with a pot of flowers taking a ride.
