I SWEAR this will be the last snow-related post, but I had to show you. Although I'm ecstatic that the County plowed our street, after a grueling 2+ hour commute home from work yesterday, I was greeted with this. I'll take the hit for our street; I'm sure it'll be there come Easter. P.S. Cody was barking at it this morning, none too pleased....

OMG! That's quite scary! ;) Here's hoping for a really long run of 50 degree days...like for a week or two? 'Cause that's what it might take to melt that gigantic heap.

Feel free to vent. I would be more than none to pleased. Do you have a basement? I would be a bit concerned about possible flooding when that mother of a Matterhorn melts.

That's crazy! Looks like my house last year up here in north Canada.

Coming out of lurking for this--it was just so ***wrong*** for them to do that. I hope your basement doesn't flood. I hope they didn't tear your lawn up. I can envision indentations.
I'd be calling city hall about that in a heartbeat! Good thing they didn't knock your porch over. Did you have to shovel your porch?
Yikes, this just made me mad seeing it! lol
Love your blog, back to lurking now.

FROM SUE: Although its on my lawn, its at the curb. Hopefully no flooding. And, Im too ecstatic that we got plowed at all to b*tch about it! Im much more worried about gutter damage at this point; the icepack is horrific for all of us. Note to self: next home will NOT face north.
