When 4 of your junking buddies (some of whom you see only one a year) are doing an upscale flea a mere 3 hours away, it's time to hit the road! Clover Market is in posh and funky Ardmore, PA, just outside Philly. It's the first weekend of the month during April/May/June, and Sept/Oct/Nov. No one needs to twist my arm to junk in PA—it's my ab-fab state for junking deals.
Allison (above left) is a partner in the hugely successful Nannygoat Antiques (I'm trying to bully her into a blog).
She's a Clover vet—and it shows. Their booth was HUGE and had great stuff!
I was sooo in love with this sign, as well as many of her items. Too bad my car was already full from the previous day's shopping! More about that in a later post.
This was Colleen and her sister Heather's debut, and their booth was mobbed. These sisters find the most unusual things—and almost everything in this photo had sold by the time I left about 2.5 hours into the show. They are a fricking HOOT. Of course I was resentful of all the buyers hogging my gal time with them....
{image cribbed from Gina's blog. Okay, Gina? Thanks!}
It was also Gina (and her adorable junker hubs') debut too, which was exciting. Their booths (2!) were great. I've long been lusting after her hoard; since she only sells on etsy, I know much is in their garage.
I mean, seriously?!? And, yes, rest assured that this photo came home with me. Because it's a yard-long, and it's my personal quest to amass them ALL.
I had so much fun hanging with my PA grrrls, and can't wait to see them again. Congrats to all on a rocking show!

What a great way to spend a few days with friends....Junkin as we say in the south....lol Wish we had some of the great flea markets that are up north....Happy Junkin!!1

I love yard-longs too, and that's a great one. They are stinkin expensive to frame though.......do you always frame them or have you come up with some other clever idea to display them that avoids that expense?

It was so much fun, although I think the next time you're in these parts we need some kind of a night out in addition. Mr. VJIMT might be doing the next one alone since I have a prior commitment. Loved all those girls' signs, especially Colleen's handmade one for her shop!

It was SO great hanging out with you at Clover, and especially junking, wining & dining the day before... come back soon, and often... Love 'ya!

So glad you made the trip up to Philly to check out Clover and thanks for the lovely post. Your "girls" really know how to work a sale - the best tents there! Hope you can come back again soon.
