I didn't quite realize it fully until yesterday, but sometimes all you need to get out of junk funk is to hang out with other junkers. My sister and I hit the road and crossed state lines into Maryland to hit 2 local monthly barn sales. While driving, I felt myself getting even more excited, merely for the fact that we were together again (she'd been out of town recently), and we were gabbing about JUNK. Woo hoo! Instant good mood.
Thanks also to Kathy, Mary Alice, Mabel (no blog), Vicki (no blog), and Rosanna who generously indulged me at the Stylish Patina barn sale yesterday. And super-squeezy hugs to Robin and Kelly from Chartreuse for rekindling my enthusiasm. I'm raring to go now!

I know the feeling well...
Sisters and junk.
What could be better?

Ok, where to start:
1) I love your blog. It's honestly one of my favorites I've ever come across. You have me clutching my stomach laughing. Two weeks ago I had the flu for nearly a week, and read every entry start to finish. I was pulling out segments and emailing them to friends, then they'd go search and find something funny on your blog and send it back. You are our hero.
2) On a somewhat selfish note, it has been exciting and so interesting to watch your booth decor change styles over the years. The sort of modern industrial thing you've had going on for a little while now is exactly my taste. I've always loved your photos (it feels like *I'm* out shopping when I can't actually get out!), but I love it even more now because I love everything you are finding and putting in your booth. You give me great ideas.
I live near Allentown, PA and I think you've come to Kutztown (if I read correctly) for Renninger's and such. If you are ever coming back to the Lehigh Valley, please give a shout. Thank you for this most excellent blog! You feel like a friend.

Hi Sue! I am hopping over from Madison & Mabel's Facebook post. I'm so happy to discover someone else with the passion! And I'm also grateful to live near Stylish Patina and Chartreuse! My friend Cassie and I have a booth with Wild Rose & Co called Persephone. (http://www.facebook.com/PersephoneVintage) You might want to check out Wild Rose as well.
