I'll let you come up for air....
While perusing the Christmas 2012 issue of Amy Powers' Inspired Ideas this weekend, I gasped when I saw these lovelies. I was further impressed when I saw that they were created by my friend Leslie Brier! Leslie lives down I-95 and is a frequent teacher at Art & Soul. I adore these tart-tin ornaments!
I bought a load of muffin and tart tins this year. I'd been pondering what to do with them—until I remembered that I'm not crafty. Well, I'm "crafty", but in the negative connotation, not the positive wow-she-does-the-neatest-things connotation. Instead, I just listed them in my etsy shop.
Leslie's tutorial is easy to follow and looks like fun. Check out these festive wintry wonderlands of junk:
It's almost enough to put me in a holiday mood—and I'm not a holiday kind of gal!
Head on over to Leslie's blog, where you can buy the holiday issue. The issue has 15 great tutorials and fun ideas. Amy's e-zine is always a must-read—and at a mere $3.99 is always worth it. I adore her design style and unflagging creativity.

So cute and clever! Thanks for sharing!

I have quite a few of these tins as well and I buy them because I love the shapes and the look. This year I bought some small tin moulds and have candles in them...but I like what Amy did and not just what she put inside them...the finishing with ribbon and other found bits is delightful!
