I'm not much of a holiday gal. It's partly because I live alone, but also because I've been dumped or stood up on more holidays that should be allowed. When even New Year's lost its luster, I hung up my party hat for good.
It's also a pain (for me) to re-do an antique booth for a holiday, or start thinking about holiday etsy listings well in advance of a holiday. I'm also a bad pre-planner.
However, this past week, I ran into so many awesome vintage Christmas ornaments that I caved. I bow down to the wisdom of all you crazed junkers obsessed with vintage Christmas (you know who you are) and have vowed to have lots of vintage Christmas in my etsy shop in anticipation of Christmas 2013. I just may list them this week to make room for more!

If if holidays aren't your bag-- have a Merry Xmas!!

Happy New Year! I feel the alone part of your Holiday blues. But I'm starting off 2013 with a bang. Tomorrow morning is the big January 1st sale at the Antique Trove in Roseville Ca. Many like minded (not hungover) treasure hunters will assemble and commiserate hoping to find a great bargain to begin 2013. Funny some of my friends just don't get it.......
