HOT DANG! Who is that Hottie McHotHot?!?
I fear I may be hyperventilating. My head (amongst other things) is spinning, my heart is a-fluttering, and I've got a twitchy finger on the remote. Alas, my DVR won't allow me to pre-record anything that is not yet on the air.
What am I talking about, you ask?
AMERICAN PICKERS is a new TV show debuting on the History Channel in 2010. OMG. It's bad enough that they're devoting an entire weekly SHOW to junking across the US of A, but to have a real-live junk hunk? Mike Wolfe is Antique Archeology. Check out this blog entry he wrote. If it doesn't make you swoon, you have no business junking!
How the HELL did this not come up on my radar yet? In fact, since I pert-near wouldn't be caught dead watching the History Channel (except for the occasional Pawn Stars), I'm indebted to Mitzi for posting this on Facebook.
If you've got a moment, check out this video on YouTube of Hottie scoring a 1939 Ford Woodie:
Hottie McHotHot is the newest addition to my Christmas wishlist!
And if he's wearing one of my sister's necklaces, drives up in a lilac 1964 Rambler, and is carrying 2 vintage suitcases full of ephemera, I'll die a happy grrrrl.
Don't laugh. It could happen.

{and yes, photos were cribbed from the web, but I'll risk punishment}

OK, I read that blog post you linked to and I am forcibly restraining myself from making any innuendos involving the words "Honey Hole" ...
Good luck stalking! (Hope you can still blog if you get locked up! ;)

I noticed at the top of his blog a reference to the show searching for suggestions for picking...maybe you should submit your brain or bones or all of you. Sounds like to me you wouldn't mind him going over you with a fine tooth comb! I dare you!!!

P.S. Go on...you know you wanna!

Sue,
I never realized junking could be so hot. I never see anyone this cute at my local thrift store. They are usually disgusting bald men with big beer bellies and dirty t-shirts, scratching themselves.

Sue,
I'm new to blogs, but have gone back and read every one of yours...love them! Wasn't sure where the appropriate place was to ask something like this, but in your 11/29 post of your booth, I saw something I think I'm in love with and wondered if you could email me about it? It's the framed picture of the baby in the playpen in the front yard. LMK if you sell items to readers of your blog, which is awesome, btw...did I already mention that?

Sue--I know this guy! He emailed me a few times after he read SAVANNAH BLUES. Who knew he was this hot--or that he had a Ford Woodie. Tee Hee.

Still laughing at the phrase "vintage woodie"
Don't they have medication for that?
